River Trips

1. Wekiva Marina to Wekiva State Park - This is a round trip paddle takes intermediate paddlers approximately two hours to complete.

2. Wekiva Marina to Shell Island - This is a round trip paddle that begins at Wekiva Marina and follows the current to Shell Island. Approximate time paddling is 2 hours and can be combined with trip #1 for a whole day on the river.

3. Wekiva Marina to Buffalo Tram Camp Site - This paddle can be done round trip in one day by experienced paddlers or makes a great overnight camping trip. This is a state park camp site. Reservations are required. Call 407-884-2009

4. Wekiva Marina to Wekiva Falls or Katie's Landing - This is an all day leisurely paddle. It is a one way trip and paddlers make their own arrangements for shuttling vehicles and water craft. Approximate time is six hours to Wekiva Falls or 7 hours to Katie's Landing.

5. King's Landing to Wekiva Marina - This is a 5 hour paddle for those with intermediate experience. This trip travels down stream on Rock Springs Run. This section of the river has lots of twists and turns that can challenge first time paddlers. Total trip distance is around 8 miles and can be done in one day or to reach Big Buck and Indian Mound camp sites. Camp sites are run by the State Park. Reservations are required. Call 407-884-2009
